The purpose of the Emerald Coast Dance Conservatory Motion Company is to provide an outlet for outstanding dancers ages
6 through18 to perform, travel, compete, and improve their
performance and technical skills. These talented and dedicated
young people are exceptional representatives of our community
and today’s youth. Competition dance requires an increased
level of commitment from both the dancer and their family,
however it can be very rewarding!
Unlike many competitive dance programs, our focus is not on
winning trophies. Our company is designed to prepare dancers
to go out in the professional dance world- to become teachers and choreographers themselves, participate in college programs,
or dance professionally.
Regardless of the where the future takes them, the lessons these young dancers learn as part of a team will carry with them for the rest of their lives. Motion Company aims to help dancers become strong, appropriately independent, responsible people in society.
